Kronos Parachute Recovery Systems integrate an autonomous deployment technology designed to minimize activation time and maximize safety in the event of a critical in-flight situation. The parachute is automatically deployed in less than 0.27 seconds, compared with approximately 3 seconds for manual activation.

This ultra-fast response helps reduce impact energy, protect the drone and people on the ground, and allows operators to remain fully focused on their flight missions, knowing that a reliable safety system is continuously monitoring the drone.

Clip, Lock & Fly

Dronavia's POD system, integrated into Kronos Parachute Recovery Systems, has been field-proven for over three years. After deployment, the operator simply unscrews the used POD and replaces it with a new one, rearming the system in just a few minutes — minimizing downtime and letting operators resume missions quickly and safely.

PARA² technology delivers a lighter, more efficient parachute canopy designed to reduce descent speed and impact energy while maintaining excellent stability. Integrated into Kronos Parachute Recovery Systems, it better protects the drone and people on the ground, while minimizing added weight and operational constraints.

Klick: Instant Safety Control

The Klick remote trigger gives operators immediate, secure control over parachute deployment. Using an encrypted long-range LoRa wireless link, it enables reliable manual PRS activation at any time during flight, with continuous link monitoring, operator alerts, and LED status indicators for full situational awareness.

Dronavia PRS and Flight Termination Systems (FTS) are designed for plug-and-play installation, letting operators integrate advanced safety systems quickly, without modifying the drone. Powered directly by the drone, they operate with unlimited autonomy, eliminating the need for additional batteries or charging.

The Most Powerful Ejection System

The CO₂ cartridge ejection system delivers the most powerful and reliable parachute deployment, proven in operation for over ten years. It ensures ultra-fast ejection and minimal altitude loss, even in critical situations, offering a robust alternative for demanding professional drone operations.

Engineered to Minimize Impact

With the Kronos M30 Parachute Recovery System (PRS), a 4.18 kg drone reaches a descent speed of only 4.15 m/s, resulting in an impact energy of just 36 joules. Without a PRS, the same drone would impact the ground with approximately 1394 joules.
