DJI was founded in 2006 and has since grown into a global superpower in the field of model aircraft. DJI’s innovative unmanned aerial vehicles are produced safely and responsibly by its wholly-owned subsidiary Shenzhen Dajiang Baiwang Technology Co. Ltd, a high-tech manufacturing facility. Dajiang Baiwang has been certified since 2016 according to the quality management standard ISO 9001: 2015 and since 2017 according to the environmental management standard SGS ISO 14001: 2015.
Headquartered in Shenzhen, DJI benefits from direct access to suppliers, raw materials and source of new, creative talent, resources necessary for sustained success. DJI’s network of offices has now expanded to the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, Japan, South Korea, Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong. As a privately held company, DJI is focused on its vision, supporting creative, commercial and non-profit applications of its technologies.

Founded in 2006, DJI started with producing flight controllers for helicopters and drones. Back then drones were more of a DIY hobby.
In 2012, DJI released the iconic original Phantom 1, the first all-in-one, ready-to-fly drone in history. Later you can see with each new generation, added new features. Built-in cameras in Phantom 2, visual positioning and obstacle avoidance, AI, and more. With all the technologies, latest drones can easily be flown by a first-time pilot, which is unbelievable 10 years ago.
In 2023, DJI has further enhanced productivity by launching DJI Dock, a drone-in-the box solution designed to facilitate remote, automated drone deployment. No doubt they will continue to push the envelope, and bring new innovative products, features, solutions for customers.
